Well, Liv says "hi" now. She also says "yeah" along with "MaMa" and "Dada". It's fun to make her say hi! She is also pointing at things now. These are her latest new things. She's growing up!

NEWS FLASAH!

I just caught Olivia standing ALL by herself! This is the 2nd time today... just Standing there! Maybe she'll be brave and be trying it more! AND... she just got a new tooth on the top of her mout! Yea!

Feeling Better

Today is the first day I feel somewhat normal again. Maybe this sickness will pass! I was going to go to the Doc's today, but since I feel better now I'm not. Anyway- Livie had a rough morning, but is sleeping now (I just took the pic about 2 minutes ago) She fell off our bed (BAD daddy ;) j/k) then she pulled the vacuum down on her head, and I pulled out some boogs from her nose (she HATES it, but it MUST be done every now and then!) It's so sad when she cries, but it's all part of being little and learning.

Sickling

Well, I am going to complain... I was trying hard not to, but I can't take it anymore. I have been so sick all week long and it's making me so mad! First I had a REALLY bad sore throat (the kind where you can't swallow without making a funny face or crying because it hurts so bad). It lasted for 5 days... when it was going away I thought I was getting better, but NO! I only developed OTHER symptoms! Now I have a bad headache, very congested, and have a cough. I thought this was bad... but it doesn't end there! This morning I woke up with Olivia's pink eye that SHE just got over. So, I'm using the rest of her eye drops for myself. I'm just SICK of being sick! It just won't seem to go away. Okay, I'm done complaining now!

Fun at the Park

so, Olivia's pictures are all starting to look the same with her little tongue sticking out. She's so funny. It's just a part of who she is, and I love it ;)

Has anyone else noticed that Vimeo is SLOWER now!? It's making me mad! It's turning into YouTube... which is very slow and annoying! BUT a cool new thing is the little arrows on the bottom right hand side.. you can watch it full screen! NICE!

Tiny Feet and Pink Eyes

Grams and Gramps are here to visit and Liv just CAN'T put her tongue away! When she first saw Grammy she stuck out her tongue for a looong time. She does that when she's nervous. Ha!

Liv has an eye infection so she went to the Doc's today. She is 19 lbs! She's been waking up with goobers all over her eyes and it's just sad! We have to put eye drops in 2-3 times daily. She SCRRRREAMED with her first dose of drops today. Hopefully it won't be that bad every time!

Quilting

So, this is my FIRST real quilt I've ever made. Yes, I've made a rag quilt, and helped with the Bishop's quilt... but I've never made one like this start to finish. It is FAR from perfect, but I learned a lot. I espescially learned that I CAN'T do quilting like Nettie and Val can. I am jealous, but maybe someday they can teach me, so I can do it properly. I think I'll stick to straight lines for the quilting part from now on! I gave this one to my friend and co-worker Rocio for her new baby girl! I'm so excited for her!

New Car Seat

Liv's first ride- forward facing... looks like she likes it!

We are SOOO excited for Olivia to get a forward facing car seat. It was supposed to be for her Birthday... but of course I couldn't wait a WHOLE month to give it to her! She LOVES it so much more- because she can see us, and out the windows now. She's quiet and peaceful back there now and that makes ME happy! Theres nothing worse then a screaming baby in the back of your car (which is how Olivia was in the car about 50% of the time... she HATED it back there!)
Here's Livie in her new shirt I got her... it's just so summery and cute she had to have it! (she will only wear sleeveless as a baby!) The lady at the Grocery Store gave Olivia a balloon- Liv likes it, but is much more interested in things she's not supposed to have!

The Sweetest Things

I was just thinking about the things Olivia does and how happy they make me! She can be the sweetest little bean around sometimes! So, just a few minutes ago she woke up from her nap and was fussing so I went in to put her back down. When she saw me she was still squeeling, but gave me such a sweet smile! I love it when Mommy saves the day and she's so happy to see me! Some other things I love are these... 1. When you chase her she looks back SOO excited and always has a big grin on her face. Then she crawls as fast as she can! It's sooo cute! 2. She tilts her head to look at things of interest. I think it's the funniest thing! The other day she kept tilting her head around Emma to look at her pony tail. It just looks so funny when she does it! 3. Lately she thinks that SHE can entertain us with peekaboo. She hides behind wall and crawls out with a big smile and giggles. We always act surprised and she thinks it's SO funny! I love it! 4. I love her little tounge! She somehow twists it when she's excited now. It's a Peterson trait I think. She's always had an infamous tounge!
Now... for the sake of remembering I'll blog about the things that sometimes make me want to SCREAM! 1. When she won't hold still for diaper changes. My goodness... it's the age of roll and crawl as fast as you can! I HATE it when she's poopy and does this... because she always ends up sitting as soon as she's gotten away! EW! Although... the other day when Brett was changing her she got away naked so he just let her run naked for a little bit. Not 1 minute later she had crawled up the stairs, was standing there and PEEING all over the carpet! It was funny, but kinda gross! Hahaha, she's always making me laugh! 2. I HATE it when she scratches me! She is always grabbing for something on my face and ends up putting scratches all over me! It HURTS!Then today she wacked me in the nose with her bottle.. What a pill! 3. This one is for Brett. When Livie is sleeping in our bed (which is everday after 5:30 am) she always manages to nuzzle up behind Brett's back so he can't move! He gets so mad that he can't move anywhere. I think it's cute though! I wish she snuggled up with me...but she doesn't! Only Daddy!

Straws

So, as I said before Olivia has mastered the straw drinking. She can do it from a regular straw too! Impressive! I was talking to my neighbor who's a speach therapist and she said it's much better for children to drink out of straws rather then sippy cups. She says with sippy cups you can develope a tounge thrust, which can cause speach problems. So... anyway... that's that! I just thought it was interesting!

Anniversary
