Here's the latest pictures I've taken this past week. I've really been pondering taking a photography class to make my average skills become something great... but I'm scared. I'm scared it will be boring, and scared it will cost a lot and I won't get much out of it and be taking the same pictures as before...

A photo class will be fun, you will get something out of it, and it will consume A LOT of your time. I took a class a few years back thru UNR and would have loved it more if I'd had the time to commit to it. I spent HOURS in the lab. I have some film developing equipment if you decided to do it. It's just sitting around here. I think you should do it before you have 2 kids.
I love Olivia's smile in the first picture!!!
The second picture is just classic!
They're all good and you're a pro already!
Those are SOOOOOOOO cute! Dad says "At least she's sittin' on there." I want to know: Is she productive while she's sitting there? Other than reading? Cecilia is right. That picture is classic. And, I think you should take a class. Would you take a class in digital photography since you don't have the other kind of camera anymore? ;) Anyway, I think you'd get a lot out of it. You like photography a lot--you'll never know what it's like until you try!
No Ma, she mostly just sits and says "PUUUUUUSH!" And my camera is digital, but I can use it manually or on auto just like my old one, except it doesn't use film. And I do know somewhat of what it's like from taking it in High-school, but I'm not sure if it will be similar to that or not.
Well, yes digital. I guess I was just thinking I did the old school class and you had to take that before you could take anything else. It was fun though and helps you appreciate digital. However, there is something extra added when you take, develop, and process your own prints the hard way.
that's how we did it in High-school Kristen. It was really fun developing and printing your own pictures. I actually would love to do it that way, but boy is it expensive! Anyway- I guess the 'new' thing is photo-shopping and computer editing your photos after you take them and learning all the cool tricks with that rather then doing the editing when you are printing (old school!)
Cute pics! I loved old-school photography at Thurston, but it definitely costs way too much. I think you should take a class! You're already a great photographer, and a class will only help you get even better and feel more confident and professional. But as said, you're already way good!
You take incredible pictures so if you have the opportunity I don't think you would regret it. I loved the advice of do it before you have 2 kids. I second that! Good luck finding a class. Have fun!
What a cute girl... and great pictures. I've always wanted to take a photo class too... and get a great camera. Maybe someday. I did take some classes in high school.
Take a class FOR SURE!!!! It's important to pursue your interests and develop your talents. I think you'll always be thinking about it until you do it....why wait? I took a history of photography class, and I learned SO MUCH...I can look at a photograph and get so much more out of it than I ever did before. There are probably digital photography classes so you wouldn't have to spend too much w/developing and such. Well, that's my two bits : )
