We got to go camping this last weekend. It was pretty fun. There were TONS and TONS of caterpillers though. It was CRAZY and kinda gross! They fell off the tree onto our tent all night long. You couldn't touch or sit on anything without flicking off 3 or 4 catapillers. Liv had fun and LOVED going on a hike with us in the morning. We had very yummy tinfoil dinners but ate them in the dark, so we might have eaten a caterpiller too!

Those Catapillars are grosso! You are so brave. Livies little sweat outfit is perfect for camping. She looks like she enjoyed it!
i love how you all are in red. Very cute. Looks like you had fun.
You know.... They just fried them up in Thailand for a snack. Roasting them over the fire may not have been too bad :0) It looks like you guys had a great time camping. I am jealous I had to work all weekend.
I guess fried caterpillars are better than raw...ugh. When I was a kid we drove somewhere in the mountains where the wooly bear caterpillars had hatched and I think we had to drive over them, crunching tons of them. Ewwww. That's how I remember the story anyway. Personally, I can't really remember it!
just think of how beautiful the woods will be when all the caterpillars reach their potential. beautiful butterflies!!! i catching them when i was little and trying to let them morphe in a glass jar. . . no too many made it.
EW! You are so brave. I would have left. Bugs are gross.
I like the matching hoodies :)
Sounds like lots of fun--looks like Livvie enjoyed it too.Caterpillers are better than flies! We had swarms of flies decend on us in the early days, but I won't go into that--I'll never forget it though.
or wasps?
