Pictionary

Liv drew a family portrait. Can you guess which one I am? That's right the BIG huge fat blob in the middle! haha- Liv thought she was hilarious!

Now don't go gettin' a complex!
That is soooooo funny though. Why do moms always end up bigger than anyone else? They really do, I've noticed that. So which one is Brett--the one with the buggy eyes or the one with the cross (that looks like a saint) or the one that looks like a harp seal on the right? Those are really cute pictures and she is cute right along side them. I'm glad the easel is coming in handy!

Ya know, I just gave her picture a second look and I'm really liking it! She's only three but I see some real 'talent?' I'm smiling about what people must think as they read this, but, I really am enjoying just looking at each person and wondering about them. Is that hair above their heads? There's just some interesting things going on... plus that planet or whatever it is to the right of the seal blob (looks like Saturn). Ok, I've said enough, but really--I'm just really enjoying looking at it and contemplating...whatever. Isn't that what good art is supposed to do for you? ;) ;) ;)

Maybe it's like that somatosensory diagram of how the brain perceives sense in the body. The hands and mouth are exaggerated because they have more sensory perception than other parts of the body. You are exaggerated because you are such a big part of Olivia's life. It's a compliment!

That's the same thing someone else told me...just not quite as brilliantly as Britta did! I agree. And how does one change the color in the comments section? I always want to emphasize things and have only capitalized for emphasis. ?????

Ha Ha Ha Ha! I love it, I love it because it's not just MY kid!

Karen, the colored font is a link. See below the comment box where it says "You can use some HTML tags, such as..." That's how I made the link, by typing in html code. Below the b is for bold, the i is for italics and the a is for a link. Unfortunately I can't tell you exactly what I did because the computer will read it as html, but Brett could probably give you some tips!

Well it didn't even occur to me to click on it as a link! And I'm sitting here staring at the html codes and not getting it. I am soooooooo tired. I'll just let you all decide where to put emphasis in my words. :) And that link...where DID you find that picture? It's well, creepy! ;)

it's totally creepy! I've seen several 2 dimensional illustrations of the same concept in various text books from college. When I googled an image for "somatosensory diagram", that 3D sculpture came up over and over and over. I couldn't find a better illustration.

Creepy is right. blech. kinda grosses me out.

It IS weird. There are so many things I could discuss about it, but won't. Not on Sarah's comment section!
