Your Opinion

So- I've been wondering a few things lately. I'm very bad at making up my mind sometimes.
Here are my dilemmas:

1- What should I do with my bangs? They are much longer then I usually have them and I need to do something!

wear them like I have for the last I don' t know- 7 years?

maybe I could TRY sweeping them over more. Although- I just don't think it works with my hair and large fore-head. It looks like a comb-over.

I could try growing them out. This is hard for me. I feel like I look older in a bad way, and I have a big forehead. It feels weird, but I could try. There is also just cutting them in a new style too. Any suggestions!?

My next dilemma:
The color of my walls and the color of the hutch. I am thinking of maybe doing a blue/green gray color for the walls and either a green or white for the hutch. Or maybe something else. I don't really know. Here is a pretty blue and green room I like, but I'm not sure if it is the blue I am looking for.

Your hair? I dunno--that's supposed to be YOUR specialty. But you're right...I just looked at your wedding pic and your bangs are the same. :) I like them that way though.

As far as the walls, I REALLY like that blue color on the other blog. Very pretty. The hutch? My initial thought was a rich dark chocolate brown because it would blend in with the dark spots in your cabinets.

I wish my house was a clean as yours! I like those colors. I think they would be nice. I know nothing about hair especially bangs. I'm scared of them. I've been waiting nearly 29 years for a haircut I absolutely love and I'm SOOOO close but not quite.

Yeah, I'm not sure about your hair-- I obviously like your current bangs as I am your hair bangs twinner... I am considering cutting mine a little shorter and having them not as swoopy. So, maybe you can cut my hair and see if you like them! (cuz btw, I REALLY need a hair cut!)
I really like the blue room... I usually am not a fan of blue but I do like that! The hutch color definitely depends on the wall color but I'm sure it will look great!

not sure what to tell you about the bangs, i think you're the expert in that department. i like the first pic.

the blue is really pretty, i was going to paint my bedroom that color when we lived in houston, and i know the guy (i think) on that blog you sent us to, we were in college together.

oh, and good luck painting the hutch, i hate painting furniture, although i love it when it's finished.

I love you with bangs... maybe you could play with the color a bit. Or do a lighter or darker peek a boo chunk in the bangs... As far as paint... I'm clueless. I usually like it when people are daring with colors, I just don't dare myself:)
PS your girls playing dress up is adorable!

i don't know a dang thing about decor.

From the photoshop nerd: I have altered the picture to have the blue wall and green (or) white hutch. Verdict? They both look awful with those drapes. Are you going to keep the warm red accents? I really like the drapes and the peterson sign and the tout va bien sign, but they don't work with a blue wall. I'll have to show you my images this week. However, I did make the wall a fresh shade of orange that was pretty cool.

I wish I knew how to do all that Photoshop stuff, Britta. I want to see your images too!

Sarah, what do you plan on doing with drapes, etc.? If you go with white paint for the hutch I think you need to incorporate more white into your room. The white makes the blue look brighter (in the examples you gave).

I have thought of that. I would probably try to incorporate more green and white accents. I think I would take out the red curtains and put white or green there. I'm not sure. You are right Britta- orange would look really pretty with the red. Hmm- maybe if I did a cool textured like orange sunset looking wall. That would be cool ;)

I changed the shade of blue to a warmer, slightly darker shade than the room you like, adjusted the curtains and changed the accents to green and it works much better. I'll have to show you.

Sounds pretty. And calming--what one needs with two little ones!

Well I am a big fan of Lizzie's blue/green/white room - but the others are right, you'd have to do something with the drapes and add some more white accents/details.

I'm so in love this this color of blue right now. of course its very trendy and "in" but also so fresh, light and clean! I love it! I especially love it with white...

Hair is hard! You look good either way (honestly). If I were to pick, I would say cut them and have them swooped just a little (if you don't mind having bangs). However, I am going through the same dilemma. I know I look a little better with bangs...but I DONT CARE anymore! Bangs are annoying. I really really think I am going to grow them out (of course I could change my mind...I do still have to look in the mirror hehe).
As for the room...I love that picture of the blue w/ the white. It looks awesome! You should do that! White drapes would look awesome w/ a white hutch!
