OUCH!

Well, she got her shots. It was bad, the poor girl scrrreamed and cried like I have never heard before. It was just so sad because she was smiling away and so happy, until the shots! It took her awhile to calm down, and when I thought she was calm then she would let out another loud squeel and start crying again. It just broke my heart, I don't want to do it again in 2 months!
Update- she is 11 pounds 6 oz. 23 inches long and I think she said 15" head.

She looks very sweet in that picture. Nojah never screamed until his 3rd or 4th shot of the day and then he would let out a pathetic cry. Alexyss would be happy much like Olivia and then wail when they poked her. Very sad! Well I am glad you and Olivia survived. It only gets better. 5-year-old shots are great! :o)

Dawn's right. It only gets better. It's really hard to watch your tiny trusting baby in pain--especially when it's so unexpected to them! In this picture she looks a little apprehensive, like 'Am I done now? or 'Is it safe?' How is she feeling? Hopefully the shots aren't making her feel crummy. I am so looking forward to seeing you both!

The worst part is when they look at you with a realization that you're the one who brought this upon them . . . Y'know, right after the shot is administered and they look at you with this face of betrayal, "How could you let this happen," type of look. I saw it all the time in the pediatrician's office. Don't worry, they forgive and forget easily.
