The walk Crawl and Stairs

That is the crawl Olivia always does on the hard wood floor. Maybe it's cold on her knees! It's pretty cute!

Olivia is crawling up the stairs now. She only gets to the first step though- she sat on it for the first time yesterday! Kinda scary! I'm trying the "let her climb at first and she won't want to later" strategy... If I let her now maybe when she is better at climbing she won't care to and I won't have to worry! We'll see!

That is a great strategy, however, I would probably just buy a gate! Good luck! She is awfully cute.

Gates are $16.85 or something like that at Costco...we bought one for Dexter!!!

P.S. Tell Olivia that Grammy's happier now. Good pics.

I STILL love those bike shorts!

Yeah, let her climb as long as you're right there. Maybe if it's not "off limits" she won't want to do it so much (yeah, in your dreams--next she'll be rock climbing with Aunt Emily!) .

Let her do it and like your mom said, as long as you are right there. You guys have stairs so she does need to learn how to negotiate them safely. However, get a gate too because there will be times when you cannot watch her every second.

She is such a cute little girl! Does she do that in dresses too? A lot of little girls I see do beacuse they can't crawl in a dress.

Alright Sarah- this is Amy Winegardner and I actually made a blog. I don't know how long it will last because I think this is really hard! My sister Lizzie started one for me- so we'll see. I don't know how you post pictures and do everything so fast! YOWSA! Olivia is so beautiful- I can't believe you have a daughter that is crawling up the stairs- Sarah now we can keep in touch more! I love you!

Oh I forgot...maybe the wood is slippery.

Hannah loves to climb stairs when we are at other people's... I'm glad we don't have stairs!

now I feel like a horrible mother...we used the ole "let her fall down the stairs once and she'll never climb them again" strategy...it worked pretty good.
