Brett's brother Jon, his wife Kristen, and their baby Sam are here to visit until about the 5th of July. Olivia is having fun with Sam and it's nice to have visitors! They came for a family reunion. We went to a potluck get together earlier this evening. Fun stuff!
Last night I decided it was time to try to make Livie fall asleep by HERSELF and not in my arms anymore. she needs to learn to do it, and it seems like now is a good time! So- this is how she's been falling asleep- face down. Last night she was bent in half- her head on her feet just sleeping away! This picture is from her nap today. Oh- and this has not been easy so far. Last night she screamed bloody murder for about 45 minutes. It was VERY sad to just let her cry and cry and cry. HOPEFULLY it will be worth it and if she wakes up in the night for some odd reason she will be able to put herself back to sleep. (that's the plan anyway.)
I'm just excited, because I FINALLY made a header that I actually like ;) This is the 3rd one I've made tonight...
So, Olivia was upset when she realized that I put up my favorites and not hers! So, we are going to do her too!
1. Shaking the Booty
It is Liv's favorite to dance to the beat of a good song, or to just bop around!
2.Eating
Olivia is like a little puppy dog these days if she sees us eating ANYTHING she crawls over, climbs up the couch and begs for food. It's cute, but can get old!
3. Clapping
Clapping is Olivia's pass time. If theres nothing else to do, then clapping is AlWAYS fun!
4. Getting into Trouble
If there is anything that Olivia shouldn't get into, she does! She LOVES it when we come running after her saying "nooooooo!" She especially loves the dirt from the potted plant in the living room... Messy Messy!
5.Waking Up
There is no happier time in the day then when Liv wakes up from a nap. She always has the BIGGEST grin on her face (this too, is probably one of my top 7, but I forgot to write it!)
6. Fake Laughing
This is a newer obsession. All day long we hear "haha.. ha...ha"
7.Playing with Mom and Dad
Being thrown in the air and played with is some of Olvia's favorite times. She pretty much just loves our attention 24/7, which we don't mind too much ;)

Okay- so due to the popularity of listing your favorite things on blogs, I suppose I will do it too! Here they are in no real order:
1. Sweet Treats
If anyone knows me... they know I LOOOOVE sweets. I don't think I can go a day without having something yummy to eat. It's just who I am I guess.
2. Babies
I just love little ones. I love it when they laugh and smile, and I love it when they are newborns and just sleep in your arms. They are soo snuggly, sweet, and cute. They can do no wrong!
3.Seeing the End Result
This is the reason why I love most of the things that I do... I love to cut hair mostly for the final finish to see what it looks like- it's the best! I like sewing, and cooking for this reason too. If it weren't for the end result so I could stand back and admire my work, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't care to do any of it anymore!
4.Journal Writing/Blogging
I very much LOVE to write about whatever I feel like writing. When I write in a journal or on my blog I feel like I can say pretty much whatever I want without judgement. I also love it because I can take the time to think about what I want to say with no pressure! It is fun to look back too!
5.Having a Home Spa Day
I think it's the greatest when I get to relax and pamper myself with fun new beauty products! I LOVE freshly shaved legs that are silky smooth, freshly painted toenails, and putting on a facial mask just for fun. It just makes me happy to feel clean and rejuvenated!
6.Going Out to Eat
I love the adventure of finding a yummy restaraunt! You can eat whatever you feel like and you don't have to wait hours to cook it yourself! It is just so fun.. food entertains me I guess!
7.Naps
Now, I don't usually take naps in the day because if I do I can't sleep at night, but back when I was pregnant they were GREAT! I was always so tired and usually could only sleep for a little bit at a time anyway, so they saved me! Now, I love it when Olivia naps! It is soo nice to have a few hours to myself to do whatever. Usuaally I clean, but lately I've been working on a quilt, and painting our living room. I just love it when she naps! Aren't naps great?
So, now that I have finally finished babbling, I would like to see the 7 favorites of: Ma, Kim, Lindsay, Amy, Tracey, and Dawn. If you guys get around to it!

Last Saturday Britta (Olivia's Aunt) taught Olivia how to clap. She does it ALL the time now, and it is SO cute! She claps for just about everything and it feels like she's saying "good job, good job!" I love it!
