Emma had her 4 month check up today, and her 4 month photo shoot a few days ago. She is just so beautiful. If only the girls would help me to get her to smile for a photo shoot! I will try for some smiling pictures another time! Emma is a great little babe. She is very attentive. She will watch TV, listen to stories and look at the pictures. She is just very focused! She is in general a happy little girl! She loves to talk. She babbles away for most of the day. She loves to be rocked to sleep and I spoil her by doing it. She is just so good that I almost feel like I am punishing her making her lie in bed crying! She has also recently discovered toys and loves to grab at things. She laughs a lot at the girls. Claire loves to make her laugh and it is funny to watch them interact.

She IS an incredibly beautiful baby--that 4th picture down is my favorite. What a sweet little doll!! I have already decided I'll be rocking our LAST baby to sleep as often as I can, spoiled or not! They just don't stay this tiny forever, as much as I'd like! Emma is a gorgeous baby girl!
