That is just superb--you really captured reality. (She has such a cute profile!)

BTW, is that your robe she's wearing? And I can see the blue walls--they look beautiful! Can't wait to see your finished product.

what is she eating?? cheese-its and milk?

Looks like 'healthy' ol' Captain Crunch?

Sarah Peterson said...

that is sick Scott! It is Captain Crunch. And I was looking at the old health info and it turns out Frosted Mini Wheats has just as much sugar and not really any other health benefits then Captain Crunch. I guess we'll have to just eat oatmeal! Liv always wants cereal though ;)

Doesn't frosted mini wheats have more fiber? Ya'd think... Yes. Oatmeal. I'd at least attempt to delay her sugar spike til later in the afternoon. ;)

Okay, I knew it was Cap'n Crunch, but it looked like cheese-its on a quick glance. Hmmmm maybe I'll try it sometime . . . not!
Really, fortified breakfast cereals are about as good as you can get for a morning meal. Oatmeal is good, too . . . the only question is the sugar, but if she's not getting any from other sources during the day, a sweetened cereal should be fine. (My opinion might change when I become a REAL doctor, but probably not because I like cereal too much myself). Also, I love that her breakfast comes complete with chocolate milk! Chocolate milk is just about the perfect drink! Really! http://www.fitnessmagazine.com/recipes/healthy-eating/superfoods/chocolate-milk-after-workout/

Britta: "Oh my gosh, this is so long!"

Scott: "The end."

haha, yeah, one of my nutrition professors said that most likely the reason college students don't have any nutritional deficiencies is because of fortified cereals! They really are pretty good for you... and mini wheats do have more fiber and they are a "whole grain"... but I have nothing against captain crunch!
and I love the hair! That is awesome!

Classic! That is some serious bed hair!!

[And I let Ethan pick his cereal, sweet or not, every morning because there are weeks on end that he will completely skip over the sweet cereal in the cupboards. I figure it all balances out!]
