Olivia names ALL her stuffed animals (that don't previously have a name) Delilah. She has the picture book of the story 'Sampson and Delilah' from the Bible. That is where she got the name from- NOT the talk show host!

Claire is 1 month old
I know I have only been posting little 'photo-shoot' type pictures lately... I'm sorry. I'm really not trying to show off how cute my girls are. It is just that I get bored stuck at home and I don't have much else that is exciting to me then to take pictures! Claire is already a month old (4 weeks)! Can you believe it!? Here are her 2 week stats I never posted...
Height: 21 inches (76%)
Head: 14 inches (40%)
p.s. notice the top of our blog... Brett made a little change. hahaha

Cutie
Today while watching the Presidential inauguration Olivia looked at me- looked back at President Obama and said "God?" I said "No Olivia, that is Barack Obama" 1 minute later she says "God?" "No, Obama" "Ooh, Obama?" She must have gotten the idea that he was God from watching Evan Almighty the other night. Then she saw everyone cheering for him and thought it must be God!
Last night while we were at WalMart together Olivia stopped in the middle of the aisle. I stopped and Olivia looked at me and said "I'm done." hahaha, I thought it was funny. She says the most random things. She cracks us up all the time!
An update on 'turtle poop'- When I ask Olivia if she has pooped in her diaper she now replies "No, just turtles" If I inquire about what the turtles have been doing, she tells me the turtles have pooped in her diaper. Oh brother! Where does she come up with these tales?

Claires Blessing and Grandparents
We had a good visit from my parents the last 2 weeks. We are going to miss having them here... all the home made meals, play time, and help with cleaning. Liv just loved having them here to play with all the time. Yesterday was my first day without help. It was a little chaotic, but we survived. Today is easier so far! Hopefully it's not too hard.. Ikes!

Pictures Pictures!
She has HAIR!!
The following pictures were taken by Tracey-
she should get full credit for the cute pics! Thanks Trace!
Well- Claire Elizabeth Peterson is finally here and we couldn't be happier! She is so peaceful and such a cutie! Olivia has done really well with her so far, although has been a little wild and crabby with all the chaos and change going on. She has a new sister, mom in the hospital for 2 days, Francisco the baby sitter for a morning, and now Gramma from Oregon. She has LOVED it all, but it has made her a little crazy at the end of the day. Too much for a little 2 year old!
Anyway- labor and delivery went GREAT! Things went VERY differently this time around. The big contractions started around 4:20 am- and we were in the hospital by 6:30 am. I got put on the epidural pretty fast to slow things down, but she was still born just a few hours later at 11:04 am. This time the epidural wasn't as strong- I could feel quite a bit- although it wasn't painful until the pushing. Luckily for me I only pushed for a few minutes and pop she was out!! With a little episiotomy I had no other tears and healing is a dream come true compared to last time! I feel SOOOOO much better this time around! It is AWESOME! I feel so so blessed. Well- I gotta go feed little Claire- she is a big eater and feeding is going pretty well too! We are happy and healthy, and thankful for all we have... a beautiful family!
