Olivia is obsessed with the play ground. All day long she says "Swings? Slides?" She would like to go there every day and be there all day long! It doesn't help that Grandma's house is right next to a school. She looks out the back window and sees the play ground sitting there.. waiting for her to come and play on!

I cut mt hair! I cut about 7 inches off.. or something like that. Here is the before and after. I know they are far away, but that's what happens when I have to do timer-self portraits! I want to make sure I'm in the picture. I am 25 weeks pregnant in the pics- just for the record. (some time in the 6th month) 
I don't think I evr explained the house situation. Yes, we sold our house. No, we did not purhase a new one. This is why as of today we moved in to Brett's parents house. We did actually try to buy a few houses but neither worked out. So... if we do not find a house in the next 2 weeks we will be looking to move into an apartment until we find what we are looking for. We have had quite the trouble with our realitor and other things, soo, it hasn't been the funnest! Wish us luck on finding something fast!!! (for the sake of Brett's paretns... they are SOO nice to have us for a few weeks!)
So- I started an on-line photography class from this Lady. She is pretty much AMAZING. I haven't done too much with the class given my VERY VERY busy schedule lately, but I'm hoping to do more this coming week when we are happily in Brett's parents house with little to do! Isn't it funny how when you aren't at home you all of a sudden have nothing to do!? Anyway- I've learned a little and was testing it out with Liv's in these pictures. This is the camera is manual mode instead of 'point and shoot' mode! I never thought I could....
Olivia has surprised us a lot with her speaking skills lately... These are the latest things she has said.
-"I want toast!"
-"NO WAY!"
"What's up dude?"
"What Sarah?" -She said that when I was yelling down the stairs at her. Brett had said it about 5 minutes earlier and so she had remembered. Now she thinks it is funny to say it.
"A bit more please"
"oops, I'm sorry"
She is also surprisingly using her "I's" "you's" "mine" yours" words exactly how she should. I figured she would be saying "Livies shoes"," Mommies shoes" until she was 3 or so, but some how she has picked up pretty well on the "my shoes" "your shoes" thing. It REALLY surprieses me when she uses it correctly. I under-estimate this girl!
Olivia is also at the 'tape recorder' age. She repeats EVERY new word she hears. Liv's found some fruit-snacks in her back pack and I said "oooo, you hit the Jack-Pot!" Livies quickly repeats "JACK-POT!" It doesn't matter the word, if it is new to her she has to try it out! It can be pretty funny sometimes. I like to make up words and so Liv is always copying my made-up words. Brett doesn't like it, he thinks I'm teaching Livs a made-up vocab... RATS! (she likes to say that too! hahaha!)
Natalie tagged me today to do these 6 random facts about me. now, I have previously been tagged and signed up to do other blog-like things on her blog page and I have NEVER done them!!! I feel real bad about it. So, since Olivia just went to bed and Brett is at basketball, I might as well do this one NOW! Are you impressed Natalie!? Well, you should be!! These are VERY random since I have not thought them out. It's just what came to my head as I typed...
1. I get scared... really really easily. There has been a man lurking in our basement for the whole 3 years we've been here (or so my imagination likes to think...)
2. I hate being tickled. It makes me sick.
3. I wish all our family could live close by. It really would be nice.
4. I don't get dressed or showered pretty much every Monday,Wednesday, and Friday... unless we have to go somewhere that evening.
5.I liked the Twilight series... but honestly it was only for the romance. haha- it's hard to admit, but true.
6. I like the show 'Charmed'. After Olivia was born I watched it every day- it was on for 3 hours straight. That's also embarrassing to admit.. but hey, when you are nursing, only sleeping a few hours a night, and trying to heal after giving birth, there's not much more you can do but watch tv and veg!! oh, p.s. I don't watch it anymore. I think I've sceen every episode now. hahahaha PATHETIC!
