So, last night we went to a Goo Goo Dolls concert... You're probably thinking "what do THEY sing!?" Atleast that's what I thought, I really couldn't think of any songs they sang until I went! There's LOTS of very popular songs such as: Better Days, Give a little bit, Name, Slide, Here is Gone, Iris, and more... Go HERE to watch some music videos - 'cause those are the good ones! Iris is a good one to watch... Anyways, it was pretty fun. We got to go because our neighbors company put on the concert and they didn't want the tickets so they offered them to us with free babysitting! You can't get much of a better deal than that! p.s. the lead singer was just as good of a singer live as he is on the raidio- very good! The guy on the left in the photo was CRAZY! We think he was on drugs and when he had his lime light doing his solo it sounded like a chipmunk... no wonder you don't hear him on the radio!

So...I hate to admit it, but no, none of those songs were familiar! Well, one. 'Give a Little Bit' --But that's because it was a hit by Supertramp back in the 70's!!! (I must've been about 2 or 3 years old at the time...) ;)
Im jealous! The only concert Ive ever been to was that little Jericho Road thing! Maybe I'll get to go to one some day soon! Im glad you had fun.
The goo goo dolls remind me of my sophomore year in college...my roommate loved them.

What kind of music do you listen to? Goo Goo Dolls became popular when I was in High School. So that is pretty much who I listened to. You are not that much younger than me so it shocks me that you don't know them!

Sarah, When I went to Bon Jovi in 2003 The Goo Goo Dolls opened for them. I think they smoked something before they started singing when I saw them too. The music was good but no one beats Bon Jovi!
I do know them Kristen- I hust didn't put the songs and the group together... I knew the songs and I knew the name- I just never put the 2 together. That's what I was trying to say!
