One Big Smile

For no apparent reason when I picked up olivia for an "awake" photo she gave me one HUGE smile for about 10 seconds... It's rare she smiles when the camera is on.. I tried to video her smiling but ofcourse there were no more grins as soon as the video came on. I'll catch her some day!

Our little 10 pounder

Today I had a doctors appointment, which went fine. I weighed Olivia while I was there. She's 10 whole pounds. CRAZY! She's grown almost double! Anyways, the picture is of the headband I made her today. It looks pretty cute...
Also today Olivia and I went out to lunch with our neighbors Natalie and 3 month old Hannah. We've decided they're going to be friends sice they're pretty much the same age. It was fun to get out, hopefully I can do it more!

French

Brett discovered Olivia liked french this evening. She kept giving him huge smiles and grins when he would speak french... maybe in the pre-existance she spoke french! I couldn't catch too many smiles on video but I think we may have gotten 1 or 2. I did video the infamous tounge at the end though! Everyone always says "look at that tounge!" We all just LOVE to kiss olivia, constantly. (I'm about to kiss her in the picture) She's just TOO cute!
We will make sure to kiss her once for everyone that can't kiss her! Since we know you want to!

Big Girl

Olivia is getting so big! It's true... they grow SO fast. She's 1 month and 1 week old now. I can't believe how fast the time flys! Before I know it she'll be talking and walking! Crazy! Then we're going to have to have another ;)

Best Friends

My two best friends from Oregon came to visit Olivia and I this week. It was a lot of fun. Lindsay (on the left) is pregnant and due in January.. seeing Olivia got her excited for her own little one! It's a boy and they are thinking of nameing him Conner. Kim (on the right) just LOVED Olivia, and Olivia seemed to not be able to get enough of her! She was always staring at kim! Kim and Linds are going to be great moms!

We found a cute little doll... sized just right for Olivia! I thought it was so funny, so I had to get it for her. She will probably love it once she's a little older!

Professional Pictures

Today we were walking through the mall and a Kiddie Kandids photo girl stopped us. She asked us if we would like to take some free photos for her to practice and we could get a free 8x10... We didn't have much else to do so we did it! Olivia didn't like it too much but she did pretty good for the most part. All Ready For Church

Olivia is finally starting to fill out and fit into some of her clothes. It's just crazy how much bigger she feels and looks! This is the first dress she's worn except for her blessing dress. I got it from a baby shower. It's so cute! We put tights on after the picture was taken, they are just darling, but kinda funny... a baby in tights is just funny to me!

Watermelon Baby

Olivia is wearing her Watermelon outfit that I got on e-bay long before she was born. I bought lots of silly things on e-bay for really cheap when I first found out she was a girl.

Aunt Emma

Emily is almost all moved in. Her room isn't quite complete in the basement yet so lots of her stuff still lives in the garage. She can't wait until it's done! The carpet is hopefully going to be here soon, and we will be painting very soon also. Emma is loving BYU so far... she makes friends fast! So far she's a good house-mate! Olivia loves her and we do too!

Trip to the canyons

We went up the Hobble Creek canyon in Springville today to have tinfoil dinners. It was lots of fun and the dinner was GREAT! We love tinfoil dinners! Olivia was great... We kept her all bundled to make sure she got no bug bites (Brett wanted to keep her in the car so she wouldn't get bit!) We played some dominoes and just relaxed. It ws nice.

This is a picture of me when I was 2 and a half months old... I think I look almost just like Olivia! It's almost crazy! My ears and eyes were much bigger though. Olivia is cuter I do have to say.

Little Livie

It's her first piggy back ride! I'm not sure why I thought I should put her on Brett's neck. but it was funny to us!

Whenever Olivia wakes up she puts both her hands above her head and stretches. Brett can't help but say "TOUCH-DOWN" every time! It's cute.

A Little Story

Well... have I got a story for you! Yesterday I was changing Olivia's diaper on my lap and luckily I had put a little waterproof lap pad down first. She has peed all over my lap in the past and I wasn't about to let that happen again ( so I thought) I had just finished wiping and put a new diaper under her (still holding her little legs up)when she decided she had to poo. This was not normal poo.. It shot out at me hitting my chest and ALL over the lap pad. It was projectile poo! Brett heard it from across the room and ran over to see what had happened. He laughed and laughed, we couldn't believe that she could shoot it out like that! Who would've thought!? Sorry if this makes some people sick... I only write about it because it's baby poo, and ANYthing a baby does is cute, right?

We miss Grandma and Papa!

We have had my parents over this past week, and it was SO nice! We loved having them here, they were a big help. My Dad finished a room in the basement, because now my sister Emily will be living with us while she attends BYU! He worked So hard... that's pretty much all he did while he was here, it was very very kind of him. My mom had lots of fun shopping with Olivia and I. She LOVES Olivia... I think she really wants to move here now! Wouldn't that be just wonderful!? I hope they do! We will miss them LOTS now that they are headed back to Oregon.

Almost there

She's just so peaceful and cute when she's asleep!

Olivia's clothes are Almost fitting her... I think it will be just a month or so.(And those are her 0-3 month size clothes, she's in preemies right now) I know she just can't wait! Grandma Knerr brought TONS of clothes with her from everybody back in Oregon. We have the best of friends back at home! They had a "grand-baby" shower for my mom... That was so funny and sweet of them! We love them! (And thankyou to everyone! We LOVE it all! It really helps out a lot)
