How much trouble can 1 toddler get into?

We started our morning by clipping Olivia's long toe nails. I figured out that if she got to watch TV and eat jelly beans, she'd let me clip her toes. That's when I noticed this.... We don't know HOW she got it..Hmmm..

Next, I needed to do some cleaning in the kitchen. So did Olivia.

She pulled out all the cleaning supplies and then got mad that I put them away, so she did THIS to the cabinet..

While I was busy cleaning, Olivia got busy trying to find trouble. She decided that the T.V. needed some re-wiring.

She also decided that the DVD player needed some help, but instead she got her fingers caught in it, not just once, but at least twice. She had to make sure it was working I guess.

Finally, Olivia decided that enough was enough, and that she'd take a rest. All this trouble in just 45 minutes was a little too much. She also got stuck under a chair, but I didn't take pictures, darn! For her little rest- she decided to lie down and read the Ensign.

Now it's nap time. AAAh, peace!

Mmmm, I'd say she's just barely gotten started (getting into trouble!) I noticed that she was enjoying disappearing behind the TV when I was there. I figured it was a matter of time before she started 'rewiring'. LOL. And I guess someone's going to have to fix that cabinet now, huh. Ronda thought she was one strong toddler 'til I explained that the cabinet was already loose. I can imagine, though, that Livie wasn't too happy. Again LOL. I loved the Ensign picture. She looks so contemplative. I just miss you all!

Sarah, this sounds like it could be the making of a new Olivia book. Olivia's In Trouble. These are some great pix though!

Do you think she got the toe owie at the pool? It looks kind of like that. Neosporin!

Wow, what a temper she must have to rip off the cabinets. How cute! Trust me your mom is right, it is just the beginning. Good luck! Great pictures. I bet she loves it when she is crying and mom's snapping photos. :0)

Perhaps you'll have to get her her OWN spray bottle with water and a rag and she can clean too. Or maybe just a damp rag.

I totally agree with your mom, it's only just begun. Sounds like she needs a baby sister/brother to keep her busy :).

Olivia cracks me up with all her adventures! I hope you're ok after such a crazy day! Good thing my kids were not there, otherwise they would have destroyed your house...LOL

Wow! That little girl is strong. I don't even know if I could rip the cabinet off it's hinges! Impressive. Have you thought about having her go out for football or something? heehee. Great post! I guess that is why you already have 17 comments.

P.S. I can play with you when you come to Oregon. I will only have class in the mornings! Yippie.

Don't you think it's time that you get Livie off the hook and tell everyone that the cabinet has been falling off it's hinges for the past two years or more??? Even temperamental Olivia doesn't have a temper THAT bad. ;)

Oops, in that last comment I put an apostrophe in it's and I can't have everyone thinking I don't know my punctuation. Shouldn't be there! :0

actually Ma- that was the OTHER cabinet that was falling off the hinge, this one just barely stated coming loose. AND, later in the day she pulled the WHOLE thing off. She did have to pull pretty hard to get the whole thing down. Umm, by the way, I think there IS supposed to be an apostrphe. Doesn't 'it's' mean ' it is'? If it does, then, it SHOULD be there. Right?

Ummm-sounds like you are going to have fun! I agree-she needs a playmate; but then it will be double-trouble- but so-o fun!

I love that mischievious look in her eyes! That reminds me of the time that my little brother crawled under the hi-chair and got stuck or into the console radio and got stuck! Oh, happy days!

Karen K. said...

"falling off it is hinges" ... Nope, don't think so!

You are right, however. The only time you put an apostrophe in "it's" is when you want to say "it is" :)

Oh, maybe you didn't have problems with that cabinet but I've dealt with it for my last two visits!

Sarah Peterson said...

I thought you were talking about the 'it's' in this sentence...

"Don't you think it's time that you get Livie "

Karen K. said...

Yep. That IS correct. There should definitely be an apostrophe. Guess I should pay attention to how many its's I write ;)

This is a cute post but I need another picture of Livie. It's been a day or more now.
