We headed for the coast yesterday. Olivia LOVED playing on the beach. We shopped at the outlet mall, and found a few clothes for Liv. It was a fun day, but we miss Brett!

So, I thought I would blog about the backyard we put together ALL by ourselves! (well, friends and family did help on occasion too ;) Anyway... when we moved in it was just dirt. There were no houses around us, no fence, nothing! Look what we've done! I think it turned out nice! Way to go Brett!(he did all of it but my garden!) Brett is an amazingly HARD worker! I love him.
Livie loves to carry her fish bowl purse with her every where. She puts things in it and walks around looking for more goods to put in. The other day she put a dirty diaper in her purse, and carried it over to Brett! She thought it was a nice gift for Daddy ;) She is officially a "walker". She chooses to walk everywhere rather then crawling now. Way to go Liv!
Okay- it's official, we are visiting Oregon in a few weeks. We will be there from Sept. 23 to October 1st. There should be lots of time to see everyone. So, mark your calendars! We can't wait!
A few months ago I thought up this idea to make a binky holder... Finally today I made it! It's for Liv's crib so that she can find her binky's in the night if she wakes up. It turned out great and Olivia loves it! She loves to pull her binky's off and switch which on e she's sucking on.. over and over again! For anyone wanting to make there own... it was VERY easy. 1. hot glue velcro onto the crib 2.hot glue a little ribbon strand around the binky 3. Hot glue the other side of the velcro to one side of the ribbon. Maybe I should go on American Inventor or something!! Just kidding!
