Baby Luke has Arrived!

Francisco and Emily welcomed baby Luke Javier Darquea this morning at 5:02 am.
Emma's water broke at 3:00 am and by the time she got to the hospital she had Luke with just 4 pushes! There was no time for an epidural! If you go natural that is the best way to do it- FAST! Luke is SO darling and tiny! He grunts a lot. What a sweet sweet little man. We can't wait to baby- sit!!

Luke getting a diaper change- not ideal for video but the most awake you'll see from a newborn!

Yay! These are great pictures and I haven't been able to see him yet! And I definitely agree that she had it naturally the best way! Adorable pictures and adorable Luke!

What a little cutie! That's the way to have a baby. I'm jealous! (of the birth not the baby.) I want to meet him.

Thank you for the beautiful photos. Oh I want to be there sooooooo much! Ummm...why does the video go black after just a minute? That is not good for a grandma!

Congratulations Emily and Francisco!

These photos are BEAUTIFUL, Sarah. Good job with the photos and good job with the editing. Have you been learning more about photoshop?

no Britta- I discovered an on-line editing website 'picnik' so until I can take a photo shop class I'll just use that! It is really fun and really easy!

Wow! Talk about a FAST delivery! It always amazes me when a woman's water actually breaks on it's own. Two hours from water breakage to delivery?! And only 4 pushes?! Unbelievable. [I'm jealous.] And this was early, right?
Anyway...
Congrats to Em and Francisco!!

AWWE..CONGRATULATIONS! how lucky is that to have the baby so quickly!? Wish it was like that for many of us! Must be a boy thing that they grunt. All 4 of my boys grunted a lot and made all kinds of squeaky noises too. Since I don't have girls I can't say what kinds of noises they make....Merry Christmas to you and your family.Again, Congratulations!
