Off to Arizona

We'll be leaving to Arizona early tomorrow morning for Thanksgiving. It should be fun. We're very excited to get to see Jillian. There probably won't be any blogs tomorrow due to traveling. Hopefully Olivia does well in the car. It's quite the long trip...

First BYU Football Game

Olivia was so tired after her outing, finally some peace and quiet!

Olivia went to her very first BYU football game today. She seemed to enjoy it I suppose as much as a baby could enjoy a game. She was quite startled every time the crowd busrt into cheers. I pretty much covered her ears for most of the game so she could sleep. She did very well and didn't cry or make too much of a fuss. What a good little baby!

Snuggly bunting

Today was a cold day and so Olivia wore her bunting for the first time. We went visiting teaching and shopping. Everyone commented on how beautiful the bunting was and would ask who made it. It was made by Mary Partney- a friend from Oregon. It's so beautiful, and definately one of a kind! We can't wait to get to wear it more!

Olivia was just mezmorized by the candle... As long as she can't reach it I think we'll be good!

I'm 3 months old!

It is Olivia's 3 month birthday today. Maybe we'll get a treat or something! It's been a wonderful 3 months so far... hopefully the next three will be even better! So- an update on things going on... Tracey Eldridge came over yesterday to get high-lights. It was fun visiting with her ;) She has made a website recently. It is daveandtrace.com. I will be putting it on my links also. Brett has also been busy with website making. He has updated his website, and it's looking very cute! He says he's not done yet though... Sunday Fun

Well, this morning Brett played with Olivia and she was delighted with just about anything Brett did! She was just laughing and squeeling all morning long. Ofcourse by the time I got out the camera she wasn't as enthusiastic... but oh-well! After church we went to the Beans house (Brett's Aunt and cousins) We had a nice dinner and played a fun game called Pit. Fun fun!

My Favorite Thing

One of my favorite times of every morning is when it's light outside and Olivia is ready to get up. Usually she is up waiting for me, making little grunts here and there and kicking her legs as fast as she can kick them. Finally after laying there not wanting to get up I get up to get her. EVERY day as soon as she sees me she gives me the biggest gummy smile. She's always so happy to see that mommy is up and ready to play with her. I just LOVE it!

Okay, I know Ive posted one too many blogs today... Its not that I dont have things to do, I do. I just cant help it though. Ive finally figured out how to catch Olivia smiling- just hide the camera! She always STARES at it if I have it out. Well, the music doesnt quite match the video this time- but you get to hear the "let your hair grow" song. We really like it! For some reason I cant do apostrophies on here, weird!

Clothes Galore!

So, I had gotten behind on laundry, and today it is finally all done and put away (atleast for now... ) I decided Olivia has probably atleast 10x as many outfits as I do. Putting away my launry takes about 2 minutes- Olivia's takes about half an hour, atleast! But we LOVE all her clothes. I was actually worried when I was about due that she wouldn't have enough. But- friends sent stuff, and now she has MORE than enough! If only she had this many in bigger sizes!

Olivia loves to talk to me. She's just started this probably a week or so ago. In this clip shes not too happy. She was tired. She really is quite the happy girl though when shes not tired or hugry. Even then she usually doesn't cry she just makes her noises- similar to the noises made in the video. She does have her moments when she bursts out in loud cries though. I don't like it- it always breaks my heart. ;)(if you notice the song in the background- Brett always sings it to her and changes the lyrics from "come on girl let you hair down" to "come on girl let your hair grow!"

Tummy Time

Well, I was inspired to try tummy time on the boppy like Alisha does with Jillian- usually she just lies on my chest... Olivia is not too fond of tummy time. She squeels and looks at me like "umm, get me out of here! What are you making me do!?" So, we don't do it too often. She's holding her head up pretty good these days- the only time she gets upset to hold it up is when she's really tired. It's much easier to have her holding her head up though. She's a growing strong girl!

So,we haven't been up to much lately. It turns out Brett didn't have food poisoning since I got it a few days ago too! It must've been the stomache flu... I'm just getting over it, thankfully it didn't last too long. I HATE throwing up- I can honestly say to me it's as bad as labor (I can compare equally since I threw up while I was in labor) I'm SOOO happy I didn't have the moring sickness like other people do. I had it so good... Lucky lucky me! Our neighbors brought over dinner last night when they heard we were sick- so nice of them. We have some of the best neighbors around. Emily, my sister has been going on lots of dates and seems to be having lots of fun. So, Olivia will no longer be a bumblebee. Her costume came and won't fit her until next year, or maybe the year after that... So, now we don't have time to order another one so I am making a costume for her. She will now be a bunny! Goodness.. I still haven't thought of what I'll be. Costuming is lots of work!
